A great band needs a great website. A band with such an on stage artistic performance asked if we could replicate their art into a website. Oh the fun this would be! We are big fans of the band anyway so this was always going to be a blast. The band had ideas in mind, website samples to show and were very easy to work with as they knew exactly what they wanted. Putting something together like this was a bit of a challenge but where’s the fun in something being simple!?!? With combinations of product bundles, postage and designs was interesting to say the least but all part and parcel. We feel the result of this project was a combination of knowing and understanding the band’s artistic needs and our own desire to make something special.
What the customer said:
Voluntarily handing over creative control to third party when you’re so use to having total artistic control over your image is a scary thing.
We’d wanted a professional and interactive website for a while, and as we were embarking on a significant new chapter of Ward XVI’s history, the need for this became paramount. It needed to be professional and interactive, whilst retaining a quirkiness that we are renowned for.
From day one, Jay at Red Six Studio has gone over and above expectations to create something what we are proud to call our own and to be the home base to which all our current and prospective fans and interested parties will be directed to in order to get an idea of who we are and what we do.
First impressions last and for bands like us, a positive first impression is priceless and can be the difference between success and failure.
Jays openness to ideas and collaboration has been second to none – He was attentive, creative and professional whilst continuing to listen to what the needs of the client were without ever sounding dismissive or unhelpful – and this was no matter what time of the day or week a question was asked.
The result is something that we never thought would be possible from the time frame required.
It’s something that has captured the artistic essence of our band whilst allowing us to look professional at the same time.
I might have to create a new band so that he can do a website for that too.
Ward XVI couldn’t recommend Jay enough.
